Anybody knows when finetunning will be allowed for the assistants using model gpt4o?

The short answer is no.
The ability for fine-tuning gpt-4o currently remains restricted. If you are eligible, you can request access to gpt-4o fine-tuning by filling out a form that is accessible via the fine-tuning UI.
The form requires you to share details about your specific use case for gpt-4o fine-tuning.
It is then up to OpenAI staff to decide whether to grant you the opportunity to fine-tune the model or not. In principle, a fine-tuned gpt-4o should be available for use by the Assistant just like other fine-tuned models.

I don not see the gpt4 models in the dropdown in my fine tuning dashboard.
