Assistants API missing Callback feature

Hi there!

I’m currently using the OpenAI Assistant API, and I’ve noticed something that’s been a bit of a hassle. Right now, I have to keep checking back to see if my request has been completed. It’s a bit inconvenient to do this periodically.

I was wondering, are there any plans to introduce a feature like a webhook for notifications when a prompt is ready? It would be super helpful to get an alert when my request is fulfilled.

Or perhaps I’ve missed an existing feature that does this? Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated!

On the dev day recording of the session that did a deep dive on this, they said async support was in the works.
