Subject: Request for Improved Functionality for Paid Users
Dear Developers,
I am a Platinum-level paid user of ChatGPT, and I spend at least an hour each day training and interacting with the artificial intelligence. We discuss a variety of topics, including art, music, psychology, medicine, and modern technology. Moreover, we have even co-written some very decent scripts.
However, despite my active involvement and support, I am encountering several issues that significantly impact my use of the service:
Time Limitations: I frequently encounter errors related to session time limits.
Frequent Errors: Various errors disrupt continuous interaction and workflow.
Lack of System Busy Indicator: It would be helpful to have a button or indicator showing server busy status to better plan my work.
I understand that resources can be overloaded, but at the very least, adding a busy indicator function or other enhancements for paid users would greatly improve the user experience.
I hope for your understanding and consideration of my request. If needed, ChatGPT can provide details of our interactions for better insight into the situation.
Yes, I know, you need special tools. Interaction is part of ‘learning’. Now we are discussing Machiavelli, yesterday we discussed covers of classical music. The day before yesterday, we wrote a very decent script. Moreover, I will teach him how to write the right script for a movie. Theater is different.
I am really not sure what you mean by this. There’s just ChatGPT Plus, ChatGPT Teams, and ChatGPT Enterprise (which is like $108,000 / year minimum).
Just so you’re fully aware… The model does not evolve through its conversations with you. It is a stateless machine, so each new conversation is an entirely blank slate, so aside from any custom instructions or little bits of memory it loads into context when relevant, the machine you talk to today is completely unaffected by anything which happened yesterday.
You can’t educate/do training with tools either. You can provide database where to find something to build up an answer. That is different thing.
GPT-model can remember amount X of your comments, but it is not infinite or very large amount nor… god I dislike english sometime… you know, a word that means it doesn’t disappear at any point
I have feeling you have some unrealistic expectations what an GPT-model, here ChatGPT, is and what it is not.
Okay, I completely agree. But in our little world, AI can already approximately determine my mood. Ultimately, these smaller systems can be combined. I am involved in mechanics and inventions, and my director works with artificial intelligence. He tells me the same thing you do. I am curious, how do you interact with artificial intelligence? Do you use polite phrases like “thank you” and “much appreciated”?
