When you consider how ChatGPT comes to these conclusions you realise:
Part is from Settings
Part is from Memories
For some part is from past chats
Some is from searches online
Some is from the model itself
Very little of what people ask they share online so they are only generally sharing with OpenAI… Like a private know-it-all friend…
At least social media was all out there, people shared what they thought…
Engagement vs views on this forum on many threads is incredibly low.
Take this thread as an example: Request for Family Plans for ChatGPT Plus and reasonable pricing… 31k views / 53 users… That’s 500 views of the thread (most likely but maybe not unique - per 8 hours) for every 1 person that actually posts…
Who likes a thread like that and why? Who contributes and why?
I think AI could contribute far more to discussions and maybe help rank better, sort through the noise…
I guess I am just noise now I’ll stop posting on this thread for a while
