API to work as good as CHAT gpt4 response

I am using playground to playaround api but responses arent as good as chatgpt.
Is there any way we can make it work as good as chatgpt, any system response or any config?

What system message are you using now? What do you mean responses aren’t as good? Examples?

My question can act as a global problem statement, as I am working on data analysis part and everytime when I ask chat gpt4 to analyse documents it works like a charm, but when I ask gpt 4 api, it gives really generic response.

Sounds like you might not be sending all data to the API, but without code, we can’t really see. If you search the forums, you’ll find a lot of similar threads. It comes down to having a solid system message and making sure all data is making it to the API.
