Agent mode in chatgpt altas browser is not working at all, i am seeing the same error from yesterday, i even tried uninstall and install the app again.
I’ve been running into the exact same issue. Agent Mode has been broken for me as well, and it’s been that way for a while now.
I’ve left two fairly detailed comments under Twitter/X posts from OpenAI team members outlining the problems and suggesting improvements, but unfortunately there hasn’t been any acknowledgment or update.
At this point it feels like Atlas has effectively been abandoned. There hasn’t been a meaningful update since March, while the focus seems to have shifted almost entirely to Codex. That’s disappointing because Atlas still has a lot of potential and remains my primary browser.
Hopefully someone from the team can clarify whether Atlas is still being actively developed or if it’s no longer a priority.
