Can you please add search ctrl+f to the windows desktop app? In longs chats I often use search to go back and find something but this is unavailable in the desktop app.

If you press CTRL + [Win] + K, the search in conversations pops up!

I would have never guessed that one.
Honestly it should still have a control+f way to find the text in the same conversation. When I’m coding and ChatGPT breaks my code, I need to look for previous versions of the code that I’ve pasted. The desktop app is almost useless to me without it.
YES, We need this function. I couldn’t believe it’s not here yet. When trying to find things within a longer chat, I’m eyeballing it! Awful. So 1990’s.
Please add “Ctrl+F” functionality to search for text strings within the body of a chat… And in the left side search bar, as you show the chats where the text is found, make it easy expand it to show the contexts where it’s found “surrounding words”.
And Navigation forwards/backwards is a MUST. ATM, I’m scared to death to click on other chats, because I won’t be able to get back to where I was.
Ctrl+F, and navigation forward/backward – are MUSTs.
