This is about the scheduled tasks feature in ChatGPT.
Use case: I want to compile the latest news and user sentiment about a topic each day. More concretely, I want to look at all relevant posts from reddit and other forums made on the previous day that discuss AI models and give me an overview of user sentiment regarding which model is currently preferred by the community for coding purposes.
The problem is that scheduled tasks use a very weak model that doesn’t do thorough research. I would like it to do o3-level research where it makes multiple google searches and compiles a good answer. Right now it only cites a single reddit post in its answer and it’s completely useless for my purposes.
My request is to add the option to select which model you want to use and how you want to use it. You should be able to select o3 or even deep research.
I know you probably don’t want a million o3 requests to run at 9:00 AM (the default task time). Maybe that’s why you didn’t add this option. But I really don’t care what time it runs, as long as it runs once per day. I’m sure you can figure something out.
