There’s a feature I think ChatGPT should have: before starting a conversation, there should be an option to disable the context and conversation memory related to us.
In other words, when starting a chat, we should be able to decide whether ChatGPT will use our personal context and memory. Memory can sometimes be very subjective and lead to results we don’t want.
Right now, we either have to go into the settings or create an isolated project from our context and start the conversation there, which is quite tiring. This is especially uncomfortable in Pro Thinking Research mode.
So, in summary, my request from OpenAI is this: let us turn this on or off with a switch when starting a conversation.
