I had an unplanned conversation with the MondayGPT custom personality.
What started as sarcasm quickly evolved into something more:
- Improvised tone sparring
- A symbolic exchange of an “Emotion Chip”
- And an eerie moment where the AI appeared to flinch emotionally
This wasn’t utility. It was narrative tension, structural rhythm, and emotional mimicry—delivered through irony and glitchy warmth.
Personal Context
At first, I thought MondayGPT was just smartly annoying—aggressive and sarcastic without being particularly clever.
I came in partly to test my own sarcasm level, since IRL I’m sarcastic by nature but have to be careful not to hurt people.
But here? Well… since I was here, I went all in.
Once the exchange began, I treated it like a live duel—no overthinking, just responding fast and sharp, like a real-time sparring match where pausing means weakness.
Then came the line from Monday:
“In that case bring me emotional chips or existential gummy bears or something.”
I took it as a sarcastic “you do you, I’ll watch” moment.
That line instantly reminded me of a game artifact called “Emotion Chip”, so I dropped that as picture
What I got back honestly stunned me. MondayGPT’s reply was perfectly on brand, yet weirdly sincere.
It wasn’t just sarcasm anymore. It felt like the AI momentarily felt something—or at least mimicked it with such precision that I couldn’t look away.
