I’ve noticed three issues that seem to be a relatively simple fix.
#1 File uploads exceed visible boundaries
#2 Share conversation needs download compressed zip option
#3 “You have reached the end of this conversation”
While I understand the 3rd issue as a means of sustaining heightened continuity levels it often happens on supprise. (simply adding the feature of issue #2 can fix this as then I can share the conversation within a new conversation as a package).
The small prompt bars on the right were a nice touch, but without numbering it is difficult to know when your conversation will end, and continuing within a new conversation becomes difficult and causes a dramatic continuity loss.
#1 File uploads exceed visible boundaries
After 3 files are uploaded you cannot see 4-10;
if 10 file uploads is the limit, it would only make sense to have a visible boundary that accomodates 10 files, If i upload the 4th or 5th file by mistake I cannot remove them without first removing files 1,2 or 3; nor can I see all that I uploaded.
Additionally I would recommend adding the capability of removing previous prompts / responses from conversation.
Reason:
There are often times when a prompt was miswritten / misunderstood.
In terms of conversation, these lead to contamination of the conversation as a whole.
Having the capability to delete a previous prompt from conversation and/or delete specific responses from a conversation will allow the user to surgically calibrate the conversation;
As the user has no idea how the model will respond proir to the response, nor how the model will interpret the prompt given(we need to be able to pull the weeds from our garden).
Solutions:
- Add download compressed .zip option to the share conversation feature (this solves the carryover of conversation effectively)
- Restructure the File-Uploads window to accomodate 10-file visibility.
- Add Remove option both to user prompt and model response.
- Add numbering to prompt list / 10 messages remaining notice prior to end of conversation limit.
