I’m a student, and I’ve been saving up for months just to afford the $200 for O1 Pro. For me, that’s a huge amount of money, and I did it because I needed a reliable, intelligent tool to help with my studies. The recent drop in quality has me really worried. I can’t afford to lose what I paid for.
Please don’t downgrade O1 Pro. I understand there are new products and priorities, but this feels like a betrayal to paying users like me. If you keep changing the quality, people will lose trust in you. I’m already feeling that way.
Please, restore O1 Pro to what it was. I really need it to continue my education.
Explain what has happened to you? I am a non-American user of o1-Pro and I have the experience of the quality of it dropping off a cliff and being more in the range of GPT4…
o1-Pro for me became unusable 48 hours after purchasing it, at the same exact moment a red message popped up about flagging against policy. But my theory is that the flag message was just a red herring, and they might have targeted my account as a non-American and maybe they didn’t like how much I used it within those first 48 hours? Who knows.
As soon as I prompted it with PHP debug logs to help source an issue, I got this instead of a proper reply… And with it, my Pro has been useless ever since this red message. Noone at OpenAI responds to my messages (or cares to fix it).
