Posting on the developer forum (for your fellow users) “down for me too” only pushes more qualified updates about the status out of the view.
Currently, the backend API that handles all user account data for ChatGPT seems to be down, returning a 500 “internal server error” to the web client, and that there are no further updates for two hours likely means that staff is being met with extended challenges, where one can imagine many scenarios or causes.
June 4th 2024 ChatGPT stopped responding. It was working perfectly until 11.00 A.M I think, after that it stopped responding, and I thought it’s only for me because I use ChatGPT to learn new things by asking too many questions HAHAHA
This is what I am paying 20 bucks for? It is ridiculous at this point. This should absolutely categorically not happen. First with the LaTeX formatting issue, now this? What is next?
Vote with your money these goons don’t do anything, free one month please. I have stuff to do today and this app is not working, they are taking my money each month. GET MORE SERVERS!!! MORE GPUS!
@yetimade Yep, this happened to me recently, a few days back when I wanted to search for something I had brainstormed, went home, opened up and then all gone.
And I think I found out the reason for this, which is obvious while I think to myself.
So, basically, this is the issue (that I assume).
When you’re working on something and have an active convo on PC.
And then if you’re like me when you are not at your PC using ChatGPT from mobile and continue the convo there and then again you go home for that already opened TAB of the convo on your PC (desktop web version), if you start continuing from that without a refresh. It won’t save the convo you continued from the mobile, in desktop web, rather just continue from where you’ve last stopped in the convo on your desktop web.
So you just lost a big chunk of in between from the last you stopped on desktop web. And the convo on mobile will get erased up to the point on desktop web unless you refresh the tab on desktop and continue.
And then when you continue the convo from the desktop web like that, the mobile also starts from there, erasing the ones that were in the mobile but wasn’t in the desktop web.
This is from my experience and happened to me twice.
May not be what’s happened to you, and something else could be the issue, but at least this was a help. (Refresh desktop tab when coming from the mobile).
I still can’t use ChatGPT. In the developer console, I see: several errors and warnings.
I tried switching browsers. This resulted in ChatGPT dot com working in logged-out mode. After logging in, the page went blank.

What would cause the CORS error, No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource., when logging-in in a web browser?
I pay for the Chat Gpt 4 plus for my business and it is not working on windows or apple. No errors codes, side bars, help bar, or anything. Has any one found a fix yet or a way to contact support?
