I am a graduate student in Complex Systems & Data Science at the University of Vermont and have an organic apple orchard in Westport, NY. I recently completed a Master of Design in Strategic Foresight & Innovation at OCAD University in Toronto.

I have had a career as a science fiction editor and writer. And I have worked at Wolfram Research. My work in hypertext fiction in the mid-1990s has recently been rediscovered by academia. I grew up in Seattle.
