iman.mirbioki
My name is Iman Mirbioki, born in 1979 in Tehran. My parents fled the Iran/Iraq war in the late 80s and came to Sweden in 1989.
I live in Lund, a small university town in southern Sweden, with my girlfriend and daughter, but I previously lived, worked and studied in Stockholm, London, Paris, Prague, Vienna, Berlin, Boston, New York, L.A., Seattle and Vancouver, B.C. (And some other places I barely remember.)
I am a former lieutenant in the Swedish Armed Forces, the military intelligence service. After my military service, I continued to work in police intelligence but resigned to study aesthetics and media & communication science. Now, I am studying Intermedia Cultural Studies at Lund University to become a journalist.
I already have a PhD in theoretical physics focusing on quantum mechanics, but for some reason, I’m back at the university for a second round. (I’m still trying to figure out why?)
My interests are astronomy, physics, quantum mechanics, artificial intelligence, medicine, biology, evolution, information technology, information theory, programming (mainly C/C++ and Assembly), culture, popular culture, aesthetics, diving into the unknown complexity of the universe and the human experience, differences but also similarities of AI and biological intelligence, neural networks.
My hobbies range from astrophotography to programming intellectual games for my 5-year-old daughter. Also, building robots and drones with Arduino and Raspberry PIs, and last but not least, photography, making movies, animations, and CGI/VFX effects are some of my very long lists of interests and hobbies. Besides making my own, I’ve also starred in domestic and international movies, TV series, and only God knows how many TV commercials.
I am the founder and former CEO of the SpaceChain Space Agency, sometimes referred to as Bitnation Space Agency.
