Dave’s notable contributions include the development of Living Building Systems, a pioneering company in carbon-neutral structural building products. This initiative reflects his commitment to creating materials and methodologies that support sustainable construction and living spaces.
His technical prowess was honed in the aerospace sector, where he contributed to the development of the Space Shuttle’s solid rocket booster testing system and co-founded the Orbital Science’s Space Technology Laboratory. His work on the Pegasus rocket system was recognized with the U.S. National Medal of Technology in 1991.
