Studio founder. Educator. Reinvention junkie. 50 years old—and just getting started.
For over a decade, I built one of the most recognizable Pilates brands across California and Texas. My studios were packed, my instructors went on to become powerhouses, and from the outside? It looked like I had it all dialed in.
What most people didn’t see: the burnout, the backend chaos, the crushing pressure to be “great” at every single thing. I wasn’t just running studios—I was running on fumes. COVID was a tipping point, but it wasn’t the only one.
I’ve navigated a lot—burnout, creative breakdown, and yep… alcohol was part of my coping mechanism when things got loud inside and out.
I’m not ashamed of that chapter. I’m grateful for it.
It taught me how to come home to myself, build healthier rhythms, and lead from a place that’s rooted—not running.
Now, at 50, I’m not chasing trends—I’m shaping what’s next. I’ve lived enough to know what matters, and I’m done with noise, burnout, and doing business like it’s 2012. I’m hoping things like ChatGpt will help.
