Hi there,
The OpenAI API official Zapier integration is missing the reasoning_effort parameter.
This means for GPT-5 all Zapier requests were done with ‘medium’ reasoning, which was fine (great actually).
But for the new GPT-5.1, which defaults to ‘none’ (for some reason…), this means that we can no longer get reasoning through Zapier!
Can whoever at OpenAI handles the Zapier integration please add a dropdown for reasoning_effort so we can set it?
