This started to happen 10 minutes ago, I cannot copy paste anything on chatGPT right now.
It appear:
“Your library is full. New files can’t be added until you free up space or upgrade for more storage.”
I had 23gb used from 20gb. How it manage to explode from 3gb more than the maximum?
It was shoing 27k files. I manage to delete almost 5k files and I still have 21gb in use.
However, there is nothing else to be deleted.
How am I suppose to dele if there is nothing to delete?
how to free up space? I’ve also tried deleting a lot of prompts, but it didn’t change anything on the storage.
please help me clean this in a way chatGPT becames usefull again.
Hey @rodrigodealexandre, this isn't ideal, agreed.
I'd recommend BTS first (clear cookies) & open a support case and let me know the case number.

Hi there, I did open, sorry for taking this long.
the ticket: 08806902
I’ve figured out some issues that explain.
1st, error in the page indexing.
2nd, files generated by chatGPT stored in the /mnt/ ocupy storage, even if you ask GPT to delete it, or delete the prompt, the storage don’t reduce on space.
After tounsand clicks on “find more” after I’ve click on ALL option, I was able to delete some files but I still kept 9k files with 17gb in use.
And deleting was a tedious process… besides having to reload and click find more almost to the mouse break, you cannot oranize, if you want to keep a file there is no way because you always have to remove the selction again and again… you cannot find big files…
The search also happens the same thing with the index.
Ideallly I think there should be a folder inside the conversation and not a overall.
the overall could link to these conversation and annouce how much each conversation is ocupaying and allow to delete.
I’ve serveral prompts that I cannot delete it because it is bugged and it cannot be found. So this funtion could also fix deleting witout opening the conversation .
Thanks @rodrigodealexandre, I’m taking over that ticket and will be looking into it from there. I’ll share updates as I have them.

Seems to be fixed just now
Glad to hear the issue is now fixed @rodrigodealexandre. You were absolutely right about the indexing/desync issue, and your feedback around per-conversation storage visibility is extremely valuable and has been shared internally.
