Thanks,
And now? After you first sign on, can you have full access from your desktop?
I think many people here don’t believe or don’t read the security requirements. If you don’t mind, I get this opportunity of your reply to leave the message below trying to convince people once more.
OpenAI has been raising its security levels almost every week. Its investors are demanding to do it.
It would be unfair if we talk about specific software products such as T**-t** or Q* social networks, Hu**** phones, E* F*** Ex****** manager, some anti-viruses or ad-blockers (originally) from non-supported countries, privacy-caring browsers like T**, Br***, D***-d***, VPNs and proxies with entry-points in non-supported countries, and so on.
We can’t say for sure, but there are strong suspicions on these platforms - they could be responsible for many of these unsuccessful attempts.
There are a lot of misunderstandings about security and the meaning of “clean installation.”
A few hours ago, we learned that a clean Linux installation with almost nothing, a new IP address, and a trusted email account had a successful first log-on, and it used a previously “flagged” phone for SMS code - while happening all of this. So, it is possible! We can’t say more.
This is not a public social network like we used to know.
For comparison: if Facebook, LinkedIn, Tinder, Twitter, and Whatsapp are “street festivals,” then OpenAI ChatGPT and completion models are private conversations in a traditional club. A dress code and adequate behavior are demanded.
What we are doesn’t matter here: nationality, beliefs, political tendencies, profession.
If we are in a supported country:
The only that matters is what we do, our intentions here, and how safe we are - and nothing else.
Your computers and devices must represent this.
Good luck to you all.
