Issue:
When editing a bubble, sometimes a specific version (e.g., bubble #3) becomes corrupted or broken. This prevents you from navigating to later versions.
Solution:
After the bubble breaks, the ChatGPT UI still allows you to send a new message. By doing so, your new message will fill the broken bubble slot (e.g., replacing bubble #3). This lets you then successfully navigate to bubble #4 and onward.
Steps:
- Encounter the Broken Bubble:
Notice that the navigation shows a broken version (e.g., bubble #3) that you cannot access. - Send a New Message:
Instead of getting stuck, compose and send a new message.
- This new message will automatically fill the broken slot.
- Now bubble #3 holds your new message, and bubble #4 (and any subsequent versions) become accessible.
- Continue Navigation:
With the broken version replaced, you can now use the navigation arrows (or any injected hack) to jump to later bubbles.
