Windows App is still unfit for use after today's update

It’s still unfathomably slow, and now seemingly even more unstable. The Android App is night and day more performant and remains rock solid.

Context: The previous Widows App update was a car crash. Slow, laggy, and locked up frequently. Other users (not me, thankfully) even reported being unable to see content in it. This morning (my timezone) there was an update. I was hoping it would fix things. It only made it worse for me.

Temporary workaround if you have a mobile device, and what I’m now doing:

Run the Android (guessing this works for apple, too) App through Windows Phone Link. You lose a lot of function, obviously, but at least the core element works this way.

Yeah, the Win Desktop App has been a bit glitchy lately. I’m one of the people whose ChatGPT replies have been disappearing from the app. It looks like it’s fixed though.
Anyway, when this problem popped up, I used the PWA app instead of the desktop app, and it worked pretty well.

Go to MS Edge and go to chatgpt.com. Then go to Settings, Apps, and Install this site as an app. That’s it. Chrome also should have this option somewhere.
