Will there be a way for custom GPT's be converted to Assistants?

Creating a custom GPT using chat commands is awesome (can’t wait to try it out with plugins, etc.)

QUESTION: Will there be a way to convert the custom GPT into an ASSISTANT? Or are the two always going to be their separate entities?

As a NEWB, at a high-level, the only real difference of the 2 (that I see) is that the custom GPT has a UI… and the ASSISTANT, probably not… Thoughts?

While the tool focuses on plugging Assistants to other tools like Slack, plugbear provides bookmarklet that imports GPTs into Assistants.
