Why is the response from from gpt-4 which contains mathematical formulas repeated twice

I asked it to explain Explain Multivariate Gaussian distribution. when i copy it and paste it. the mathematicall formulas are repeated twice like this(sigma here is repeated twice).

First part is bad latex(Σ) and the second part is ok (\boldsymbol{\Sigma}).

One would need the entire context of the response to see if the AI is producing LaTeX into its alternate backslash format for inline or block text. Then to evaluate if it made an error that would not be rendered correctly with the previous Unicode. It indeed looks to be an anomaly that you could regenerate with a different model.

It seems that the problem was on the application(obsidian) that i was using. Copying and pasting is fine in notepad
