Why does OpenAI penalize customers for creating team accounts

Converted to a ChatGPT team account to discover:

  1. Data cannot be exported. Want to save your chats - write some software or give a 3rd party tool access to your account.
  2. Cannot get an o1 Pro account. I want to give OpenAI $200 a month. I can’t because I’m on a team account.
  3. Okay - so I’ll just downgrade and shut down the team account.
  4. See point 1. Leave the team account = lose your entire chat history.

So dumb. Maybe I’ll call 1-800-CHAT-GPT to complain about it, because clearly that was a better use of developer time.
