Dear OpenAI team,
Well, I think the title is pretty much self-explanatory.
Wouldn’t it be easy for ChatGPT to search for something in the active conversation history when requested? I mean, I can copy-paste the whole thing and submit it as a file, and then make ChatGPT search for content in the file.
Why not make things easier and faster by simply giving it the ability to search directly in the conversation history?
It would give ChatGPT a much broader “memory” than its limited context window.
