Whisper API is translating any transcript to English with nice, good quality. As the documentation mentions, translation is only available to English. No worries, you can easily take the result and feed it to other openai API call and ask translation to any of supported 56(8?) languages. Just keep in mind restriction of roughly ten pages size per request. Neat.
