I recently saw the demos showcasing the impressive live video interactions with ChatGPT, where it can see and respond to live video feeds in real-time. However, despite updating my app and enabling the voice features, I haven’t been able to find the live video camera option. Could someone from the OpenAI team or anyone in the know provide an update on when this feature will be fully rolled out to the public? I’m especially interested in understanding the timeline for availability to Plus users and whether there will be any regional restrictions at launch. Thank you! ---

There is no public timeline other than it is expected to roll out to alpha testers who are ChatGPT Plus subscribers in the coming weeks. ---

OpenAI said in a Twitter post a few weeks ago that these new features would start rolling out to a select group of ChatGPT+ users in late July and that all ChatGPT+ users would have access in Fall, so I guess most of us will have to wait until then. ---

Same here. I think it will only be available months from now. I have the iPhone with a.i. and nothing really changed. Weird. It doesn’t feel “advanced” at all. ---

I am waiting on this too. Does anyone know if there have there been any updates? If it takes too long, then I would recommend an stepping stone to that goal, which is analysing recorded video. We should have the ability to upload an mp4 and have ChatGPT analyse it for its content. I hope OpenAI see this and get back to us. ---
