Account Not Engaged in Dangerous Online Activities or Reverse Engineering, but Received Notification of Account Suspension from OpenAI
Hello everyone, my account recently received an email from OpenAI indicating that the account has been suspended. However, I confirm that I have not engaged in any dangerous online activities or performed any reverse engineering-related operations.
Additionally, this account is subscribed through an Apple ID. I would like to ask if anyone in the community has encountered a similar situation? In such cases, how should one further investigate the cause or submit an appeal?
Thank you. I will wait for a few more days to see how things progress. Recently, I have seen many users reporting that their accounts were mistakenly blocked. Additionally, some people mentioned that their account privileges changed from Pro 20x to Plus. So I am quite worried.
Thanks for sharing. That sounds really frustrating, especially if there was no email notification at all.
Maybe you could also create a post in the community to ask for help or see if others have experienced the same issue. It might make the issue more visible and help you get suggestions from people who have gone through a similar process.
Thanks for reaching out. Account restriction and deactivation appeals require account-specific information and cannot be reviewed safely on the public Community Forum.
Please use the appeal link in the account warning or deactivation email you received. If you cannot access that email, submit an appeal at https://openai.com/form/appeal/. If you did not receive an email and have lost access to your account, contact support@openai.com from the email address associated with your OpenAI account.
Please do not post account, identity, enforcement, payment, or other personal information her
