What does that mean by save/publish a GPT as 'Public'?

What does it mean if I save/publish GPT ‘public’? I understand that the word ‘public’ implies that anyone can use it. However, I do not see an option to view all public GPTs.
I know the GPT store is coming soon; does that mean it’s related to the concept of ‘public,’ or is there something else? Is there a way to share my GPT to a group of people other than sharing the link?

Can anyone help me understand?

Alright, I’ve got the answer. Now, next to ‘public,’ the tooltip shows, 'this GPT may appear in the GPT store (coming soon).
