I did not touch Codex a few days to get it to reset its weekly limits on monday morning. And the reset date was set my using codex shortly it last monday morning, and to reset on Monday 3 November. Now, a few days later, the reset date has been moved to Friday 7 November. This does not give me more usage; it just spreads the same usage quota over a longer period. This is very annoying. I am using claude as well as codex, and i spend my weekly limits in 2.5 days of coding, so i tried to create an offset, between the weekly limits. But like this, it feels like OpenAI took away 4 days of usage for the same price. There seem to be more people with this issue: Weekly limit reset date changed from Nov 3 to Nov 7th · Issue #5999 · openai/codex · GitHub
Is there some rule that you must use more then X% of weekly usage quota, before Y% of the week or otherwise they roll the weekly date to a few days later? Or is there any system in this?
Codex credits
I used Codex on Plus last month and was told free credits would be applied. None have shown up. Please confirm eligibility and when they’ll be issued.
Usage anomaly (Business vs Plus)
On Business (single seat), I hit the 5-hour cap and burned 74% of my weekly quota in ~30 minutes.
Running comparable workloads on Plus over the past few hours barely moved the meters (≥60% hourly remaining; ≥80% weekly remaining).
This looks like a metering mismatch between Business and Plus for the same type of usage.
