There’ve been numerous, now closed, requests to customize the **Web UI** send button, i.e. setting key combinations other than “enter” to send prompts.

We know the desktop app allows for this customization, and it’s a welcomed change.

But this customization is still unavailable on the Web UI, and it introduces two issues:

1. The original issue is _ **not** _ resolved, though closed. Routing users _away_ from one UI that’s not deprecated should not be called a resolution.
2. Inconsistencies are introduced. Some users have two or more sessions active, with one of them being the desktop app/UI. But remembering the “correct” way to send messages in different sessions laces extra burden on users.

So please ask the product team to re-review this feature request, and simply don’t do the Steve Jobs infamous “Just don’t hold it that way”.

Best wishes
