We use api gpt 3.5, but when i asked the AI on our app, it told me its gpt3

we call API to use gpt3.5, but when I asked the AI on our app: who are you, it responded to me that it’s gpt3.
Also, it is not smart as it is on the chatgpt web version, it doesn’t send full history or use a few shot learning method, it seems to be able to answer one-time questions. If I asked it for any info related to the previous messages, it will not understand.

These language models have no idea about anything, @Ha They are text generators based on large language model “next token” probabilities.

That is because it is API based and it is up to the developer to manage the session. The API does not manage the session, the developer calling the APIs manage the session.
