I’m a ChatGPT Advanced subscriber, paying $200/month, and I’d like to request an improvement regarding file download link expiration.
Currently, file downloads are only available for the duration of an active session. This creates an issue when I have to wait hours for complex files to be processed, requiring me to keep my phone screen on the entire time to ensure I don’t miss the download. This is not ideal, especially for long processing times.
As a higher-tier subscriber, I believe download links should be available for at least 24 hours to provide more flexibility. This would prevent loss of access due to accidental session timeouts, connectivity issues, or simply needing to step away while a task is being completed.
Would it be possible to implement extended download link availability for premium users? This would be a huge quality-of-life improvement and make it much easier to work with large or time-consuming file generation tasks.
