Voice reading problem from the web

Hello, I’ve been having problems with reading aloud for several days, the audio via the web doesn’t start, I’ve tried different browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave, but nothing doesn’t work. In the iPhone app, however, it works fine, but the web computer version doesn’t work. I have a Plus subscription.

Same problem here. Have you received the new interface, or does the old interface still appear for you? I think it’s an interface issue.

So it’s a common problem. At the beginning of the release chatgpt 4-o worked. Then I noticed that they also changed the chat URL. openai .com with chatgpt. com gets automatically redirected and stops working, maybe the link change causes some problem with the code or interface.

I am from Italy. Surely for Brazil and Italy, the new interface needs to be updated. I tried to change the language, but it always remains the same. Some friends here in Italy told me that they have not yet activated ChatGPT-4o, and they are probably doing some work. The audio reading feature worked for one day and then stopped. I was also reading in Facebook groups that updates are released gradually, so they don’t update everyone at the same time. I reported the interface bug to OpenAI via email. And here, the same thing happened with the audio reading: it worked for one day and stopped the next. We can base it on the fact that some of your friends haven’t even received GPT-4o yet. Now a new problem has appeared. Again from the web computer it doesn’t upload documents, I tried pdf and other files, it says it’s impossible to upload the document.

Always the same. The only thing I’ve tried is ChatGPT on MacBook with Safari and there’s the new interface, everything works perfectly both audio and file uploading, always with my profile. Then the problem will be on Windows browsers, Safari Mac goes perfectly.

just at this moment I updated the page on windows chrome and the interface updated with the new one, it works here too now.
I have no idea if it updated openai or if it affected logging into safari from the Macbook. If you have a Mac, iMac or MacBook, try accessing chatgpt via the Safari browser, then go back to Windows and log in with Chrome, it may update. I have no idea if it was a coincidence or it happened for this reason that everything fell into place. It costs nothing to try. Let me know if you try it and it’s successful.
