# Vector Store API - wont resolve to any format

Can anyone tell me

vector\_store\_file = client.beta.vector\_store.files.create(  
vector\_store\_id=“vs\_abc123”,  
file\_id=“file-abc123”

vector\_store is not an item of Beta, openai or OpenAI

ive tried all

api\_key = os.environ[“OPENAI\_API\_KEY”]  
client = openai.Client(api\_key=api\_key,  
default\_headers={“OpenAI-Beta”: “assistants=v2”})  
Cannot access member “vector\_store” for type “Beta”  
Member “vector\_store” is unknown

and

client = OpenAI(

and

import openai  
from openai import OpenAI

using Python SDK  
1.6.1

help is appreciated

I am also facing the same problem  
Beta doeest have vector\_stores

Did you find the solution
