Using GPT-4o to automate a real construction business in the UK

Hi everyone,

I’m running a real construction business in Scotland (Glasgow–Edinburgh), and I’ve started integrating GPT-4o into our daily operations.

Here’s what we’re using it for:

  • Writing and translating client messages (English ↔ Ukrainian/Russian)
  • Creating estimates and job reports based on voice, photos, or PDFs
  • Calculating materials and project costs using Code Interpreter
  • Generating social media content and automated client replies
  • Translating and simplifying project documentation for clients

We’re now exploring how GPT Agents, Actions, and custom tools can further automate client communication, project tracking, and task delegation.

I’m using GPT-4o mostly from my phone — mobile-first workflows are key in my case.
If there’s a chance to join any early pilot or testing for GPT Agents or automation tools, I’d love to contribute real-world feedback.
