Hi OpenAI team and community,
I’m a ChatGPT Plus subscriber and specifically subscribed only for DALL·E image generation. Unfortunately, it’s not working at all, even in GPTs like the official [DALL·E GPT].
- I’ve tried using it through the DALL·E tool and GPTs with GPT-4o.
- The tool page only says to “ask in the main chat,” but doing so gives text only, no image.
- I’ve confirmed I’m on the Plus plan, on the latest version, and with a working connection.
- Even the DALL·E GPT I linked above doesn’t generate images — it just responds with descriptions.
- I’ve attached a screenshot showing that the tool refers me to the main chat, where it still doesn’t work.
I’m willing to pay $50/month or more just to have access to DALL·E in GPTs. I don’t mind if it’s separated from Plus — just please give us an option to use DALL·E inside GPTs.
This has been ongoing for days with no official update or fix. Can someone from OpenAI please respond or give us clarity?
This is the main feature I pay for — and I just want the product that was advertised.
