It’s been like this for days! I thought maybe it was a bug and it would work it self out but I still can’t use codex! still says I’m at my usage limit.

``■ You’ve hit your usage limit. Upgrade to Plus to continue using Codex (chatgpt(dot)com/explore/plus), or try again at
Jul 10th, 2026 2:02 PM.``

I’ve tried updating,
I’ve tried logging out and back in,
etc…

NOTE: I’m using the codex CLI.

my dashboard shows 0 token usage!

Welcome to the dev Community! @th-3333

Since you’re still seeing a Codex usage-limit message even after logging out/in and updating, and your dashboard shows 0 token usage, this may need an account-level investigation.

Could you please create a support ticket? Once you have the case ID, share it here and I’ll take a closer look to help investigate further.

I’m having this same issue. @th-3333 did you get it figured out? I created a support ticket through the openai support chat, and escalated it to a support specialist, but didn’t receive a case number.

I logged out of chatgpt platforms (codex and web) and logged back in and it seems to have fixed the issue. I previously had only logged out of codex.

Same issue here. Codex in VScode, log in via API. Happened just after upgrading to plus.
