I paid for Plus almost five months ago, and during that time I had GPT-5.4, 5.5, and 5.6 available in regular chats. I used them for everyday questions, school, coding, and plenty of other things.
Now Astra has released, but it isn’t available in normal chat. Why?
Did I pay for Plus just to get the crumbs while the actual dish gets put somewhere else?
I understand that compute is expensive and AI isn’t free. But €26 a month is not an insignificant amount of money, especially for a lot of people. When you’re already paying that much, it feels unfair to suddenly have the newest model excluded from the main ChatGPT experience.
I’m not asking for unlimited Astra. I just think Plus subscribers should have some reasonable access to it in normal chats.
