Unexpected text being appended to generated chat titles

I noticed an unusual issue with automatically generated chat titles today. These are five examples that occurred within a single day:

• 쿠폰 사용 비교-offsetof

• ECP 이전 결함 작업 followed by 二四六

• 버스여행 아이디어 followed by քննարկеиҳәеит

• 애기분홍이 논의 followed by 久久国产视频

• Studyday 제안 followed by վերաբերյ񎟙

I’ve used ChatGPT extensively for quite a while, and I don’t recall seeing this happen before.

I’m wondering if there is some internal work or experiment related to chat title generation currently underway. If so, no problem and you can disregard this report. Otherwise, this seems like a bug worth looking into.

It doesn’t cause any functional problems with using ChatGPT, but seeing unrelated text in various languages repeatedly appended to otherwise normal titles is quite distracting and unpleasant.

I also encountered the same problem. I was asking about issues related to harness, but I also received a Chinese title that contained implicit and pornographic content.

It also happened to me. I asked for a grammar check on a short paragraph, and it set the chat title to “Grammar Request Erotiske.” I was confused and wondered where that even came from.
