Unable to Update GPT - No Way to Assign a Category

I’m unable to save my changes to a custom GPT - I get the following Error:

"Could not save GPT:

  • Public GPTs must have a category"

Unable to Assign Category to GPT

This would be fine, except that there’s no way to categorize or add a category to an existing GPT.

I found a workaround. While editing the GPT, instead of clicking “Update”, click “Share”. Then, while choosing the setting to share publicly, you can set the category.

Had the same problem! Many thanks for the described workaround!

I confirm this works. Thanks!

Yet, the bug is still there. Describing the want to change the category of GPT to the wizard does not work. But it confirms that it does

Thanks for the workaround @bhagwad that work. It was the first time I’ve received this message and it’s not intuitive on how set the category for an older gpt.

Thank you! Worked pefectly!

Same issue here. Thanks for the workaround., It still says “unpublished changes” but when going back, the changes are saved. I like how there’s versioning enabled.
