Unable to publish my custom GPT – “Create” button not working

Hello,

I’m a ChatGPT Plus subscriber and I’m experiencing a technical issue when trying to publish a custom GPT.

After completing the GPT setup (prompt, description, and instructions), I click the “Create” button, but nothing happens. The GPT remains in “Draft” mode and I cannot access the sharing settings (“Who can use this GPT?” does not appear).

Here are the actions I’ve already taken to resolve this:

  • Tried different browsers (Firefox, Chrome)
  • Used incognito/private mode
  • Cleared browser cache
  • Shortened the prompt
  • Tried re-creating the GPT from scratch

Unfortunately, the problem persists.

Could you please look into this or advise on how to publish the GPT properly?

You may try:

→ Log out from all devices, and lastly on web browser:

→ Settings → Security → Log out all devices

It can take 30 minutes to log out from all devices.

Don’t use ChatGPT 30 minutes.

Then, clean your browser, cookies, and disable browser extensions.

Log in again on web browser.

Also, if you want to share publicly your GPT, you should fill your builder profile, otherwise you cannot share it.
