I am quite a heavy user of the API, and I have made my case to sales to be considered under the Zero Retention policy, but all I get back is a generic “how to get started with OpenAI” guide from a noreply@ address. About as helpful as a chocolate fireguard.
In the light of the New York Times getting a judge to order openAI to keep usage logs indefinitely (not the 30 day retention period we agreed to when we signed up), I don’t feel my concerns or requests are being taken very seriously at all.
Does anyone have any recommendations to get anywhere with this please? It’s very important to my use case.
In the meantime, I have started using Groq and Cerebras because they don’t retain user requests.
