Unable to do Model Selection in Codex

I’m using the Codex desktop app on Windows 11 and I want to work directly in a repo, so I have the composer set to Cloud with the repo and branch selected. but this does not gives me option to select model I want.

Questions:

  1. Is model selection intentionally disabled for Cloud chats or I have not set it properly ?
  2. if there no way to choose the model in Cloud mode at all ?

Hi @jaydev.patil, you haven’t missed a setting. Model selection is currently unavailable for Codex Cloud chats, so choosing a repo and branch will not show the model picker.

Cloud chats use the default model selected by OpenAI. Model selection is available for local Codex workflows, but there is currently no way to choose a specific model in Cloud mode.
