There is a missing feature in ChatGPT that prevents users from changing the model mid-conversation (e.g., switching from GPT-4o to o1 for a specific prompt) when a chat is placed within a project folder.
Expected Behavior:
The ability to change the model during a conversation for individual prompts should be possible regardless of whether the chat is stored in a folder or not.
Current Behavior:

Please investigate this issue and consider implementing a solution to enable model switching functionality for chats within folders.
I reported this bug a month ago to the devs, but nothing has happened. A dev from the technical team responded: “As the Technical Support team, we acknowledge that the “Switch button” feature is not currently available for ChatGPT Projects. However, we will take this as product feedback and forward it for potential implementation to improve ChatGPT. While we cannot guarantee that this feature will be added, we appreciate your input”.

Click on Help and submit your report. Get past the automated bot and a real person from the support team will engage you. In my case, they eventually connected me to someone from the tech team.
