Hello everyone,
Since OpenAI uses dynamic token consumption based on current network demand (burning tokens faster during high demand and slower during low demand), I would like to propose a new UI feature.
It would be highly beneficial to have a small visual indicator on the interface showing the current real-time demand level (e.g., Low, Medium, High).
Why this helps users:
- Users could decide to slow down their workflow or postpone heavy tasks when demand and costs are high.
- Users could maximize their productivity when demand is low to save tokens.
Why this helps OpenAI:
- It would naturally incentivize users to balance their own consumption.
- It would help flatten the peak traffic curves on the servers.
