Tony Resync Method - For custom GPT builder name

If your Custom GPT shows the wrong publisher name (e.g., an old name or someone else’s), here’s the working fix I discovered:

  1. Change your profile name (Settings > Profile) to your real/public name
  2. Change your billing name (Settings > Billing)
  3. Set your Custom GPT to private
  4. Toggle your Builder Profile to private
  5. Toggle Builder Profile back to public — this forces a metadata refresh
  6. Make your GPT public again

Your publisher name will now show correctly.
