Hi OpenAI team and community,
I had an idea I wanted to share! What if AI-generated images had invisible metadata embedded in them that stored the original prompt, style info, and key image details?
This metadata wouldn’t change how the image looks at all, but it would help the AI (like ChatGPT) remember how the image was made. That way, if someone wanted to edit the image later, the AI could scan the invisible info and understand the image much better.
It could also help tell if an image was originally made by an AI, without adding any visible watermarks or signatures.
I think this could be useful for artists, developers, and anyone who wants to edit or verify AI-generated content. I’d love to hear your thoughts!
