Once I use ChatGPT, he gave these words.
" for 2~3 months and 1~2 hours for a day. "(originally it was Korean, just examply)
and I got this with " 23 months and 12 hours for a day "
In East Asian language(especially Korean, Japanese and Mandarin), Tilde character is used like hyphen and en dash.(reveals a range between two dates, times, or numbers )
Therefore, In these country, people are often confused tilde with strikethrough for ChatGPT speaking.
You know, as tilde used twice, it’d be considered a strikethrough.
I asked how to correct this error, and he replied to use bold text.
‘2~3 months and 1~2 hours.’
However, he repeated the same error without using it. Can this issue be resolved? I politely request this with somewhat awkward grammar.
